Watching Seasonal Anime

I feel like I have to change the way I watch anime and consume media in general. I normally always watch quite a lot of airing anime and then sort them out by dropping or pausing them if I am not interested or don’t like the show. It would probably be best if I just watch one show at a time that is already fully released. That way I won’t feel stressed because I couldn’t watch an episode the day it was released and maybe my mind would be less cluttered. That would also give me the option to binge watch a show or watch multiple episodes in one sitting resulting in a better more immersed viewing experience. ...

Rant on Smart Home Lights

You might have read my last post about the Home Assistant I have running on my server and the setup I created. Honestly I have nothing to complain about and it works flawlessly. BUT I had one simple thing that changed my mind about lights with smart integration - the usability. It’s great if you have a (Shelly) button/switch to control the lights and not need an app or a website for a simple action such as turning on you lights. I also configured it to change brightness with increments and stuff like that depending on what button I pressed and how often. The main problem was the ability to move the button around and therefore it felt like it was always on the opposite side of the room. Turning the lights off while in bed was nice though. ...

The Current State of the iPhone

Sometimes I question myself if I should switch back to an Android phone. This time it is because of the Liquid Glass redesign and probably just wanting to try something new, shiny and different.
