When it comes to tablets, the iPad stands in a league of its own. I’ve used others, but nothing quite delivers the same balance of power, design and everyday usability. It’s clean, lightweight and built with purpose — whether I’m reading, sketching, or working on the go, it just fits into my workflow.
The display on the newer models, especially with the tandem OLED technology, is stunning. It’s bright, crisp and handles color with incredible accuracy. Watching movies, editing photos, or simply browsing feels immersive. It’s one of those features you instantly notice and it’s hard to go back once you’ve seen it. I also use the Paperlike screen protector, so in all honesty I do not take advantage of the screen, but the writing and sketching experience is more important for me.
Battery life is excellent. I can go through long sessions of drawing, writing, or video calls without worrying about plugging in. It’s the kind of reliability that makes the iPad feel more like a true productivity device than just a large screen for casual use. Depending on the use I just charge it once a week.
Apple Pencil support continues to be a game-changer, especially for creative work and note-taking. It’s incredibly responsive, feels natural in the hand and the magnetic charging is one of those simple things that Apple just gets right.
And then there’s the ecosystem. Using an iPad alongside a Mac, iPhone, or AirPods just makes everything flow. Handoff, Sidecar, AirDrop - it all works without friction. The iPad isn’t trying to replace everything, it’s designed to fit in and amplify what you already use.
